This meteorology course for Geosciences majors introduces students to important physical processes that occur in earth's atmosphere. Students will study atmospheric problems and develop computer skills applicable to these problems. This course focuses on atmospheric radiation, heat, thermodynamics, stability, moisture, clouds, and precipitation. Prerequisites: METR 1131, MATH 2124 or concurrent enrollment, PHYS 2434, PHYS 2401.
