Continuation of CIS 219. Students gain a higher level of skills in the diagnosis of hardware and software faults and the upgrading of computer systems. Software adaptation to hardware, installation, and troubleshooting of network hardware including modems, network interfaces, and peripheral connections and local area network hardware design covered. Prerequisite: CIS 219 or instructor approval. (3 cr)
