The student will learn intermediate and advanced procedures for designing, managing and securing relational databases. Major topics will include: Data normalization to ensure data reliability and integrity, script creation using Data Definition Language (DDL), and Data Manipulation Language (DML) security maintenance through secure logon and creation of user groups, and data backup and replication techniques.
