Description:

Emphasis will be on proper transcription techniques for the production of mailable transcripts from live dictation at 80 to 110 words per minute with 95 percent accuracy. Two 110 words per minute three minute Q/A and two 100 words per minute 3 minute and two 5-minute literary and/or jury charge dictation takes with 95 percent accuracy and must be passed in order to continue to CR 2303. A basic knowledge of typewriting is assumed. Lab fee $7.00. Prerequisites: CR 1603 or concurrent enrollment in CR 1603. [Fa (pm)] [Sp (pm)]
