The second portion of the study of hematology focuses on disease processes commonly seen in the medical laboratory. These include anemias and leukemias. Emphasis is placed on the microscopic analysis of blood cells and their abnormalities. This course is held the second eight weeks of the spring semester. Lab fee $7.00. Prerequisite(s): HSCL 1113, Permission of Program Director required.
