A general survey of the history of the Five Civilized Tribes from prehistorical times to the present. Emphasis will be placed upon a study of their culture and the difficulties of assimilation into Anglo-American society. May be taken as Humanities credit for General Education requirements. Prerequisite: HIST 2503 or equivalent. gencies. The course content and activities prepare lifeguard candidates to recognize emergencies, and prevent drowning and other incidents. The course also teaches other skills and individual needs to become a professional lifeguard.
