This course is designed for the health care professional. Basic introductory course in microbiology as related to the health care professional; consideration will be given primarily to the pathogenic microorganisms, including bacteria, virus, rickettsiae, fungus and protozoa. Emphasis will be placed on diseases caused by microorganisms, aseptic technique, and control of nosocomial infections. Laboratory fee $7.00.
