The commutative, associative, and distributive properties; variables; signed number operations; and whole number exponents will be introduced. A study of geometric figures, square roots, and Pythagorean Theorem, and other applications will also be included, as well as solving two-step linear equations, the Cartesian coordinate system, and graphing lines by point plotting.
