A continuation of HSRT 2324, respiratory therapy procedures are practiced in specialty areas of the hospital. Physician lectures and clinical experience are coordinated to cover tracheal intubation and extubation airway management, arterial blood gas sampling techniques, critical care monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and pulmonary rehabilitation. Prerequisite: HSRT 2213, HSRT 2324. Permission of Program Director required.
