Introduction to E-Commerce and the internet is the foundational study of E-Business and the internet infrastructures. Concentration will be given on the study of how E-Commerce is redefining the business functions, communications, and delivery of information through the internet. Students will learn the terminology used on the internet systems and networks supporting electronic communications. Topics include: History of the internet and E-Commerce, internet systems and networks, internet search tools and skills, E-Commerce infrastructures, E-Business environment and security, Web models, Intra-Business, and the current trends of E-Business and society.
