This meteorology course for Geosciences majors introduces students to important physical processes that occur in the earth's atmosphere. Students will study atmospheric problems and develop computer skills applicable to these problems. This course focuses on dynamics, winds, air masses and fronts, cyclones, climate, pollution, atmospheric optics and severe weather. Prerequisites: METR 2114, METR 2423, and MATH 2124.
