Students will learn the current desktop publishing software on a PC platform for the purpose of designing publications for various journalism and business outlets, including public relations, advertising, print media, and corporate communications. In the process, students will use scanners, clip art, various word processing and graphic design programs, and color printers. Students must know how to use a computer mouse and navigate in the Windows 2000 or newer environment. Fee: $7.00.
