This laboratory course will consist of current techniques employed in biotechnology. Topics can include, but are not limited to, specialized techniques from biomedical, environmental, agricultural, pharmaceutical, microbiological, biocomputing, and/or bioethical aspects of biotechnology. Guest faculty from biotechnology industry and research will be employed as co-teachers. Additional lab hours required. Prerequisites: Prior or concurrent enrollment in BIO:219 or consent of the instructor and Reading Proficiency.
