This course is designed to facilitate non-native English speakers' performance in college-level courses which require moderate to heavy amounts of reading, writing, and note-taking. Students recommended to take ENG:070 will haveachieved the reading and writing performance outcomes of ENG:050 and ENG:060, but still need to improve grammatical and lexical accuracy in a variety of writing tasks. Reading and writing assignments will be linked to assignments in content areas. Prerequisite: ENG:060 and ENG:061 with grades of "C" or better, and ENG:053.
