Students will learn how to run a recording session from set-up, to tracking, to tear-down. They will learn the theory of compressors, EQ, delays, reverbs, chorus, and other effects. Microphone design, selection, and placement are emphasized. This course combines theory with practical experience in digital studio. Prerequisites: MUS:150 and Reading Proficiency.
