Also stresses the importance of protective clothing and equipment when physical corrections cannot be made. The course includes basic concepts of chemistry and physics that are fundamental to the control of chemical and energy hazards. Some attention is given to the principles of ventilation control. Prerequisite: Reading Proficiency.
