Covers vector and insert options and preparation, quantitation of DNA, ligation and transformation procedures, and analysis by restriction digest, blot hybridization and PCR. Prerequisites: BIT 109 or BIT 110; and any of the following: BIT 101, BI 102, BI 112, BI 212 or BI 234, or instructor permission.
