This serves as the first course of a two course sequence designed as an option towards meeting the requirements of ACCT-201. The course gives the student a solid introduction to generally accepted accounting principles, beginning with basic double-entry concepts, classification of accounts, preparation of financial statements and special-purpose journals. Emphasis is on the sole proprietorship, including both service and merchandising entities. Semester offered: Fall and Spring.
