Introduction to general histology and embryology with emphasis on the microscopic structures of enamel, dentin, pulp, cementum, periodontal ligament, bone, oral mucosa, epithelial attachment and orofacial structures. Prerequisites: Admissions into the Dental Hygiene Program. Corequisites: DHYG 110, 112, 113, 114, 217, and enrolled in or completed with a "C" or above, ENGL 211 or 218. Semester Offered: Fall.
