Study of the principles and concepts of community public health and dental health education with an emphasis on community assessment, educational planning, implementation and evaluation. Introduction to statistical, scientific review of literature. Laboratory emphasizes methods and materials used in teaching dental health education in various community environments. Prerequisites: All of the following courses must be completed with a "C" or above, DHYG 221, 225Corequisites: DHYG 229, 233, 234, 237 and enrolled in or completed with a "C" or above, SOCI 110.
