Provides the student with training in the use of intravenous fluids and delivery systems, phlebotomy, and the basics of fluid resuscitation. The class requires the student to participate, experience, and practice their newly learned skills on fellow students as well as on patients during scheduled clinical hours. Prerequisites: EMT-B or instructor permission.
