General information related to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), HIPPA, and cultural diversity. Verbal and nonverbal communication, introduction to activities of daily living, basic medical terminology and record keeping including notes related to Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) format. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the on-campus or online PTA Program. Semester offered: Spring for both programs.
