NURS 135 - Nursing Externship

This is an optional clinical course in which students are assigned to a clinical unit at SJRMC for three eight-hour days or two 12-hour days per week. Students are partnered with one to three SJRMC nurses who have been especially chosen to assist students in their learning experience. The focus of this course is to develop student competency by providing supervised patient care opportunities. Track I Prerequisites: NURS 130, ENGL 111, PSYC 230. Semester offered: Summer.
