This course is designed as a continuation of Silversmithing I (ARTS 158L) in which students will improve their skills in the arts of sinking, repose and forging. In addition, raising will be taught which is an advanced Silversmithing technique employed for the formation of metal objects such as teapots, pitchers, vases and similar vessel forms. Prerequisite: ARTS 158L. Offered: Occasionally.
