This introductory course in business statistics covers the collection, tabulation and analysis of business and economic data. Topics include averages, dispersion, statistical inference, correlation, regression and statistical decision making. In the laboratory component, students use computer analysis for application and interpretation of descriptive, bivariate and multivariate statistics. Prerequisite: MATH 109. Offered: Fall and Spring.
