This course is for all EMT-Basic students who wish to advance into EMTIntermediate. Students who have taken their Basic course from outside SFCC must contact the department for further information. This course is designed to increase the success of the EMT-Basic in Advanced Care by providing in depth clinical experiences, math assessment and drug calculations, advanced patient assessment, and more patient based scenarios and high fidelity simulation. Prerequisite: Current NM EMS Licensure in good standing at the EMT-Basic level. Offered: Fall and Spring.
