The course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the diverse aspects of water shed management. It reviews the various ways individuals and organizations strive to balance the human use of water shed resources with natural resource protections and maximization. It explores the technology, policy making and best practices used to achieve optimum water shed management. Visits to local water shed will be included. Prerequisite: ENVR 115.
