This advanced-level course builds on the information students learned in EMSI 160. Classroom and lab experiences are used to teach physiology, hydration, fluid and electrolyte balance, and interventions for shock. Theory related to skills such as venipuncture, and administration of selected drugs is taught. Prerequisite: EMT-B licensure, and permission. Corequisite: EMSI 220L. Offered: Fall and Spring.
