This course is a review for the New Mexico Teacher Competency (NMTA) exam. Topics include the format, scope, and content of the NMTA Teacher Competency exam, and test-taking strategies. Practice exercises in each area will be provided. The course is structured around the following four components: student development, learning, instruction; assessment and the learning environment: professional environment, and restricted and extended constructed responses. Graded as Pass/Fail. Offered: Occasionally.
