This course allows students to explore potential careers in public safety and to gain an understanding of the role of each discipline in their communities. Exploration of firefighting, emergency medical services and law enforcement are a few of the areas where a participant can see real-life experiences with the public, speak with and mentor with a particular discipline and gain insight into how each of these disciplines work together in their communities and potential career opportunities.
