Methods for the injury-prevention design of exercise settings and exercise programs are covered in this course. Students explore the use of physical conditioning techniques to prevent injury and discuss current exercise fads and myths that promote injury. The course presents methods for injury recognition and evaluation, the onsite care of exercise injuries and emergency procedures. Current certifications in CPR and first aid required. Offered: Fall.
