Basic karate is a foundation-building program offering the basic techniques, skills and practice of tai kenpo karate along with conditioning and flexibility exercises. Students learn balance, distancing, timing, and physical and mental control techniques and applications. Drills also cover one steps, defined combat and free response self-defense tactics. May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit. Offered: Occasionally.
