A continuing study of elementary functions, including linear equations, systems of equations and inequalities, graphing, polynomials, factoring, exponents, powers and roots, real and complex numbers, and an introduction to conic sections. The course includes laboratory time in which students use group-study activities, calculators and/or computer tools to work on concepts covered in class. Prerequisite: MATH 102.
