A beginning Spanish course that introduces students who have Spanish in their heritage to simple grammatical structures and vocabulary. Focus is on the distinctive features of northern New Mexico's Spanish language and culture. This course is recommended for heritage-language students who do not feel prepared to enter SPAN 111L or SPAN 113L. This course credit cannot be used to fulfill degree or certificate requirements. Offered: Summer, Fall and Spring.
