This is a level I intensive Spanish course. Students will study for a two-week period at a foreign language institute. The course includes approximately 40 hours of study in Spanish grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary development with additional hours of conversational tutoring. Excursions to selected historical and anthropological sites will be arranged through the Institute. May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit. Graded as Pass/Fail. Prerequisite: SPAN 112 or permission. Offered: Occasionally.
