Designed to improve student's understanding of language and communication through developing skills in: (1) traditional literacy, (2) scientific literacy, (3) mathematical literacy, and (4) technological literacy. Emphasis will be placed on developing writing skills. Students will tutor in field-based settings and will use technology during the tutoring experiences including desktop publishing, graphics, and database management. Prerequisite: EDUC 2003/EDUC 2001 or permission of instructor.
