A review of the basic skills and concepts of Arithmetic to prepare the technical degree student for Basic Algebra using the KeyTrain software system. The course covers the areas of basic operations, primes, fractions, decimals, ratio & proportion, percent, measurement, and an algebra preview through the KeyTrain software system in the Supplemental Instruction Lab. Does not count toward a degree. For technical degree students only. Prerequisite: ACT score in Math of 6 or below or equivalent score on alternate test.
