This course provides an overview of students with disabilities with chronic illnesses and medical conditions with emphases placed on the medical condition, treatment issues, advocacy, teaching methods, accommodations, assistive technology, legislation, and strategies for working with these learners and their parents, as well as, school systems, the medical community, and community agencies.
