A review of the basic skills and concepts of arithmetic to prepare the student for Basic Algebra. The course covers the areas of basic operations, primes, fractions, decimals, ratio & proportion, percent, measurement, and an algebra preview. Does not count toward a degree. Internet students must have access to the Internet and a browser. All students must have internet and e-mail access to complete assignments and tests through Eduspace software. Eduspace passkey is bundled with new textbook. Prerequisite: ACT score in Math of 6 or below or equivalent score on alternate test.
