Curriculum frameworks for social work education include learning human behavior and the social environment, social welfare policy and services, social work practice and research that is soundly built on a liberal arts foundation. Grounding in a values orientation about people and society, and special populations will be taught. Exploration of the broad common base of professional values, knowledge and skills will be included in the introductory courses of social work. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
