This is the fourth of four (4) semester courses designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology that will empower them to enter employment and/or further education and training in the computer networking field. A task analysis of current industry standards and occupational analysis was used to develop the content standards. The course focuses on Network Address Translation (NAT), Port Address Translation (Pat), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP),WAN technology and terminology (PPP, ISDN, DDR, Frame Relay), and network management. Prerequisite: CS 1204.
