This course is designed to give students technical expertise in wastewater treatment and technologies. Emphasis is placed upon the importance of microorganisms, nutrient removal processes, and detailed municipal and industrial treatment processes. Also included are procedures for process control and NPDES testing including math formulas and problems. Internet students must have access to the Internet and a browser. Prerequisite: ES 1003.
