This is the second of four (4) semester courses designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology that will empower them to enter employment and/or further education and training in the computer networking field. A task analysis of current industry standards and occupational analysis was used to develop the content standards. Students will develop skills on how to configure a router, manage Cisco IOS software, configure routing protocols, and create access lists controlling access to the router. Prerequisite: CS 1004.
