This course provides information concerning the origins of nursing. Legal issues related to nursing, including the Nurse Practice Act, are discussed. Nursing ethics including common ethical dilemmas are explored. The student is introduced to genetic research and cloning and the impact it has on the medical community. The NCLEX-PN test plan is explained and preparation methods are explored.
