(Prerequisite: RESP 1224 Basic Assessment and Diagnostics) This course is designed to integrate theory and practice of respiratory care in the neonatal, infant, and pediatric populations. Congenital malformations of the infant and genetic diseases found in the pediatric population will be discussed. Assessment of the infant and pediatric patient will be covered, as well as monitoring and case management for this population. (Only offered in the fall).
