(Prerequisite: Acceptance into the program and corequisite: RADI 1223 Radiographic Practicum I). This course introduces factors influencing and controlling the quality of the radiographic image. It includes the study of radiographic density, contrast, radiographic film, screens, and accessory imaging equipment. Knowledge of processing chemistry, various systems of the automatic processor as well as silver reclamation are addressed. The causes and methods of eliminating artifacts on film are also learned.
