(Prerequisite: Acceptable COMPASS scores and by permission) This course is designed for the individual working outside the acute patient care setting. The student develops the basic knowledge and skills needed to carry out the duties required in a medical office, clinic, or to provide technical assistance to pharmacists in a professional practice. Current procedures and practice are demonstrated including the legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy technology.
