(Prerequisite: NURS 1212 Pharmacology I; concurrent enrollment in NURS 1266 Medical Surgical Nursing Clinical or NURS 1364 Clinical Nursing) This course is a continuation of Pharmacology I and reinforces the student's skills in fundamental medication administration. Pharmacodynamics, major drug categories and classification system by which drugs are categorized are covered. The nursing process is used as the framework for discussing nursing implications.
