(Prerequisite: Acceptance into AAT Fast Track) Developmental Reading for AAT (Equivalent to READ 1213 Developmental Reading) introduces AAT majors to education concepts through instruction in reading and vocabulary development. Word attack skills are used to cover content related to early childhood. Basic levels of comprehension and application are stressed. Techniques in surveying, skimming, and scanning are incorporated. Developmental Reading for AAT satisfies the requirement for READ 1213 Developmental Reading. This course is non-transferable and is designed for students seeking P-8 Teacher Licensure.
