(Prerequisite: MATH 1013 Elementary Algebra with a grade of "C" or better or a score of17-18 on the ACT placement test in mathematics or equivalent score on the SAT or COMPASS.) Designed primarily for students not qualified to enroll directly in Math 1333 College Algebra. Fundamental operations of the real number system, factoring, linear equations, functions and graphs, exponents, radicals, and logarithms. A grade of "C" orbetter is required before progressing to the next course level.
